Our traditional pub is situated in the centre of the idyllic Blackdown Hills community of Churchinford.  The village is conveniently located half-way between Taunton and Honiton (and only around a mile from the A303).
Whether you’re looking for a great atmosphere for a night out with friends, a lunch-time bite following a mornings walk in the hills, a refreshing pint after a hard ride, or if you’re looking for one of those great little places that you can rely on to provide well cooked food on every visit – we’d like to think you’ve found it right here!

Nestling in the heart of Branscombe, one of Britain’s most picturesque villages, is the award winning, 14th Century, The Masons Arms. This charming old Inn dates back to 1350 – a cider house turned country pub – and the men who cut the stone for Exeter Cathedral drank here, hence the name.

The extensive menu, accompanied by several daily specials, can be enjoyed in our waiter-serviced (evenings only) Restaurant, cosy Bar area or weather permitting outside in our peaceful village surroundings.
